THE TWO-TONE (ONE-TONE) RIBBED SHRUG!
This was such a quick and enjoyable knit. If I made this again I would trust my instincts more than my gauge (which was a bit off, so I decided to knit the smallest size) and would make this bigger - as you can see, it is a little on the small side... Still, it was fun and I've already worn this today. Also, the yarn was wonderful to work with - Knitpicks Andean Treasure - I can only recommend it.Stats:

ReplyDeleteThe shrug looks fabulous, as do you. I'd dismissed this pattern as not for me but yours looks great - I think just using one colour makes a big difference.
Grrrrr - grrrrreen with envy - 5 years on and I am still sporting my "baby belly" and look at you! You and the shrug look fantasic.

ReplyDeleteThat's a really pretty shrug and I love the colour... and you are looking fab! I am with Carolyn, it's a really nice pattern - I didn't like the pink and purple but in another colour the shaping really shines through.
