no big update but...

I just had to say that I'm on my last repeat of the straight section of Clapotis. This section can't be done soon enough as far as I'm concerned, I'm so sick of Section 3.

Can't wait to start the decreases and then it's not long until I can finally wear the Clapotis!!

That is all - I was working nearly all night to meet a deadline today so I've had about 2.5 hours of sleep. Being coherent is quite an effort right now. ;-)

  2. Yep I hear you. Clapotis may be a bit repetitive but it sure is hard to put down. You're on the homestretch now though.
I finished my second clapotis last week (a really skinny one) and accidentally felted it in the washing machine yesterday! Am devastated.

Can I just say that I could not agree more with your assessment? I am on repeast #8 right now. It does make good television knitting, but still, my kingdom for the Decrease Rows!

I am loving the Clapotis though. I should have pictures up soon on my blog. After that, I have a few holiday gifts to work on along with (hopefully) starting the Greek Pullover. I can hardly wait to get my hands on the Kid Classic! I sure do love my Rowan. ;)

That's what I keep telling myself! Not long now, not long now... ;-)

Clapotis really does get repetitive after a while. *yawns*

Julia - Lovely as it may look, Clapotis just takes forever, doesn't it? It occured to me yesterday that I've probably knitted several sweaters by now (judging from the length of the clappy) - I should be well able to knit the Greep Pullover after this. It will probably seem like a quick project in comparison. (although I'm sure I'll eat my words before the GP is finished!).
